You wouldn't be able to stop a polar bear on PCP short of a bunker buster bomb. PCP and rage makes dead men walk. They are freshly dead but they don't know it yet, seen it happen. At a party in 1975 or 76, in San Jose, we hear gunfire way down the street, over 20 shots were fired into a dude threatening the cops. He still kept coming till suddenly, he lay down carefully, then died. Autopsy indicated that if the shots hadn't killed him the PCP in his system would have. We stayed inside, we were all under the influence of something. No one wanted to go talk to the cops and ask what happened right then.

He was a little over 5' and a little over 100 pounds (VietNamese immigrant). Imagine if you got a polar bear (770 - 1500 pounds) to rage on PCP. Aren't they combat effective enough already?

although, presumably it would take a lot more PCP to get the polar bear jacked up.

I don't think you can armor a bear well enough to stop a Javelin. The T-72 sure can't stand up to it, espeically in top-down attack mode RARRR!!!

I was flipping through channels today, and caught a segment on this on Discovery Military. Pretty nifty.

If you look carefully at that picture you'll see that there is no exhaust coming out of the rocket itself but there is sme coming out of the back of the launch tube.

Javelin has two engines; one to get it out of the tube and one that fires once its a safe distance from the guy launching it. It's quite clever.
