Just woke up..I hate bad dreams. Scary ones where he Is always so close to catching you, and you think you are safe, then boom! He is there. :( and you wake up.

Why does he still have the ability to effect me :(

I would assume that this nemesis would be your ex?

Sadly all I can recommend is having a glass of warm milk, thinking happy thoughts and trying to get back to rest.

Because you haven't moved on yet Kirra. You still have passion, its just the other side of the fence, you passionately hate him. Until you can let him go, this will go on. Consider therapy, at least a little of it. Do you have benefits or are you an independent contractor?

Just think of him as a pair of old shoes who always made your feet hurt anyway. Better to donate him to a charity case and look for something new, that you like, that will cherish your feet and make you feel as wonderful as you deserve to feel. I'm trying real hard not to include a moose-hide slippers joke I'll have you know.

Oh, and for the feminists, yeah, fish, bicycle, she doesn't need a man. Doesn't matter, she only thought she had one before. It would be good for her to find a true blue good guy.

It's a fight or flight response, even in dreams... you're trying to run away rather than confront him and kick the living crap out of him.

Also remember you can control dreams to a degree, so if you really decide to stand your ground, sometimes you might find light sabers, lazer guns, and in one occasion a flame thrower laying around the ground for you to use. The hunt than becomes the hunted.. muahhahahahha...

Okay I have weird dreams... I'll go back to standing in the corner now >.<

It isn't so much the idea of you armed, its the maniacal expression on your face and the Mwahaha coming from your lips.

*huggles* It was just a bad dream. Grab a teddy bear and give it a squeeze. Bad poopy-head is gone, and your bad dreams are just your sub-conscious' way of dealing with the emotional aftermath. It will be ok in time.
Love you, girlie!

I occasionally have dreams like this, but it's aliens... not necessarily the sort that trouble Sigourney Weaver, but they have made their appearances.

Do what I do in dreams:
Stab them in the heart.
Point out that exist only because you will it.
Shoot hand beams at them.

I had a dream one time that I was being hunted by a Jamaican hit-man who could use voodoo to track me down. I woke up moments before he killed me.

But really "nightmares", as such, don't bother me anymore. The dreams that get to me are ... different. Harder to pin down.

Most of my "bad" dreams just force me close to being awake, enough that I vaguely know I'm dreaming, then I can rewind and/or change it mentally (the bullet that had just shot me and woke me up now missed and my .45 appears in my hand).

The only thing close lately that woke me up was a dream where I was witnessing my seven year old daughter being kidnapped. That at least got me awake enough to say now, and I went back to her being back in a swing with me pushing her, the other scenario gone.

I rarely remember my dreams, and thankfully don't have any about my X that I know of.

Had lots of dreams where I died when I was a teenager and suicidal; they were always an adventure. Died in so many different ways, lol.

The ones I do remember are always completely random nonsense stuff.

Kirra, you're too cool for this ****. Dream of me instead! Nothing scary about someone boarding themselves up in a room to play video games.

ok Lenas ..lets see..I need some more details about you in my dreams. ;)

I am trying to move on, but lately these chase dreams are popping up. I always wake up just as he is right there. It is freaky and makes me turn all the lights on in the house and the TV. I hate having that reaction, but the little noises around the house become more scary. =(

Maybe I do need counseling.

Clearly, you need chase dreams of me. Because when I catch you? Nothing happens. Maybe we sit down and play video games, or something.

Hmmm do I get to beat you in the video game kaffis? That's how it should go since it's my dream.

Lenas, yes you do have the cali looks that could make my dreams interesting ;)

Probably. And your ownership of the dream wouldn't necessarily have anything to do with it. I don't think I generally claim to be *good* at video games, merely that I like them.
