Yes, that title is not a mistake. Nick's had his superhero role, so he stopped "expressing interest" in playing heroes he had no business portraying. Which will have prevented something like this from ever happening.

I do have to say that while I'm a fan of Tim Burton, everything I heard about his treatment of Superman was completely terrifying.
