The Glade 4.0

So I had to go to a funeral today, for my parents' neighbor. I lived next to him my whole life, until the day I married and moved out of my parents' house. He was a really, really good man. And the funeral was hard on me. My dad said a few words at the beginning, at the request of the family. Also, my mom performed sign language for a particularly beautiful song that was played. So an overall emotional day for us all.

And to top it all off, I get home and try to fire up the Xbox to put a movie on for the kids, and I get 3 nasty little flashing red lights staring back at me. I knew I should've expect this, but I honestly don't game on it very much at all. It is, however our primary movie player (DVD, HD-DVD, Netflix streaming). So I just got finished filling out my repair request.

GGGRRRRRR!! Not a good day at all.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Caleria. Try and take solice in the fact that this man had such a positive influence on the people blessed enough to know him, and count yourself as blessed for having been numbered amongst them.

His family, yourself, and yours will be in my prayers.

I'm sorry to hear about your former neighbor, Caleria.

Condolences to you and yours for your former neighbor's passing. As time goes on, we lose more and more of the people that formed our lives, that affected our lives in ways good and bad. That you have such positive memories of your former neighbor and long term family friend goes to show he was one of the good guys. Treasure your memories of him, and if you found him to be a positive role model, emulate him and pay it forward, it is the finest tribute you can offer.

As far as the X-Box goes, meh, it happens, timing was terrible.
