Padilla. I mean, I like the guy, and how he pitched for the Dodgers at the end of the season, but he just didn't seem to be opening day material. Kuroda would have been a better choice. I have a theory that Torre didn't want to start Billingsley or Kershaw so as not to put pressure on them, or have to signal to them that one is better than the other.
