The more I watch the more my opinion of Sara drops. Chuck needs to forget her and move on. Call me unromantic if you must.

Spoiler:
I do have to say, the ending of the last episode where Sara is all "oh no, he's not the Chuck I like anymore" when she thinks he's killed someone, and i'm like "Girl, I watched you kill 7 guys in the last episode!" Such a double standard!

Spoiler:
My wife said pretty much the same thing. That, and she's dating Shaw, who has no problems killing people. Bryce killing people didn't seem to bother her either, or even that MI6 guy last season.

I agree. Either that or she is super-wishy-washy.

At this point, I'm blaming poor writing. There's been some good stuff this season (civilian Casey, Morgan the Spy), but every damn episode they have a moment where they play the "slow chuck/sara theme" and you think "Oh, here comes the generic heartstrings moment". Time to give that up.

IIRC, Sarah did say in an earlier episode that she needs to stop getting involved with the guys/spies she works with. Or something along those lines. But yeah, this season isn't holding me like season 2 did.

I'm still enjoying the show greatly. I just have a different opinion of the events.

Agree wholly. Let's move past the Sarah crap. I too am still enjoying the show but lately she's been sticking out in the plots like a certain fin...

Agreed. Would have liked to see someone get straight up shot (I think we know who) but I like the twist.

For a moment it seemed like Chuck was on the verge of a breakthrough. Still waiting to see how things turn out

Chuck is still awesome, but we know how it's going to end.

While Tonight's episode was pretty much everything I expected to happen, it was still very awesome.

Yea, once they got on that train, there was no changing the tracks they were on. Still, it was a fun ride. Now we have three weeks to wait...

Agreed, I am praying they don't jump back 10 steps in the upcoming episodes.

How many times could they use the same problem sequence in the same episode?

Sarah is in trouble! Oh noes, I can't do anything because I'm not really a spy! Help me John Casey! I can't...

What was it, 2? 3? times in that episode?

Plus it was ungodly predictable and boring, with considerably less of the injected and subtle humor normally found.

On top of that, they have completely remove the personal barriers in the show between the main characters, which set up the tension that added to the humor (and not just between Sarah and Chuck... between Chuck and Morgan, Chuck, Morgan and John, etc).

The current best part of the show is currently the odd ball Jeff and Lester pair and their interaction between the main cast.

Obviously its a personal opinion, but this episode capped and intensified the downward spiral the show has taken from the first two seasons.

I also hate that they have completed the evisceration of Sarah. She was a badass at the start, and not only acted as the cold love interest, but as the intensity filter between Chuck and John. Now she's only 1 step above where Chuck was when he was "recruited".

You have to have some kind of character develpment and plot advancement in the serial drama, otherwise you end up being like Heroes.

Maybe it's not exactly the kind I wanted but I think it beats the alternative

Season 3's Finale was fantastic.

I really felt they were taking the show back to it's roots, especially the hotel scene. Chuck was the Chuck we all know and love from the first two seasons. The fight scene was everything it should have been.

I thought Nolan was good as Daniel Shaw, but I'm glad to put this storyline behind us. As for what's to come, it could prove interesting.

Finally caught this on my DVR, I don't think I like the new direction...
