Yeah, if you are primarily doing archery, getting AM4, Trickshot and Ranged Finesse are much more important, as is Persistant Casting, Stun resist/immunity and I would say Shield Block, if you are doing large numbers of mobs at one time with VL.

It's just that melee soloing is so gear dependent compared to root'n'shoot.

You can then work on building up your melee/defensive AAs and your gear as you level, and then start working the melee path back in, and say, meleeing at C2 in Plane of Fire once you can take the hits.

Can't use my bow against mobs that summon. Which are the mobs that actually give exp worth a crap.

Also, Dragonscale Hills was better exp than PoFire. I already did PoFire from 64-70.

You can root rot the fairies around the DSH guild lobby portal, I know- and it should be quite nice exp.

I gots me the fabled whip from earth today. Someone linked it as rotting and I ran my *** over there as fast as I possibly could. Now, I just need one more level and I can totally use it.

The brownies at the backside of Dragonscale are higher level than the fairies as well, can be rooted and burned down with a bow, no summoning. There are also tasks from the NPC at the doorway out of the tower that are things like kill X number of Fairies, Brownies, etc, so you can double up on the tasks.

Gonna try that when I log in later. Went to...uh, whatever the level 75 hot zone is. Spent the whole night there and got 1 and half levels.
