They do rule, but they cost 10k more than the Optima/Sonata/Fusion. S4 is more like 20k more.

Originally I wanted the A4 or the G37.

If you're talking new, sure. I picked up my 2007 about 8 months ago for $22k. And you get so much more car.

The new Sonata is definitely a hot car. It's getting great reviews and looks very nice in person. 200 HP, great gas mileage, and tons of features. Fully loaded, new for 25k.

The first car, the Kia, isnt out yet but it's based on the Sonata. Same engine and bones with different body and some other features.

I think the Fusion is ugly myself but it gets great reviews.

New vrs Used... tough call. I'd want the new model A4 which is 2009 I think. Beautiful car.

Eh at this rate I'll put it off so long I'll have enough saved for the A4 or a 328i.

You're looking at MSRP and not really considering how much options packages drive up the costs of the Kia, the Hyundai, and the Ford. Buy the Audi.

On the Sonata, reliability's no issue. With a new vehicle, they provide a 100k bumper to bumper IIRC. AWD isn't necessarily critical, certainly not worth the price premium.

Cost of maintenance of the Audi/BMW? Tires, brakes, etc?
Plus, its bland and soulless.

I'm pretty plugged in on the Sonata, people are getting the top of the line limited for under 25k (before TTL) and that's with the Nav package that I wouldnt want.

Base Audi with Premium Plus is 33k invoice and that's before taxes etc. Plus I wouldnt even have my push button start! What's up with that? ;)

If I want the Quattro it's 35k.

Mus is right on the Sonata, the warranty cant be beat. It is a first year model though. That Audi is a sweet looking car though Mus, that pic doesnt do it justice and the cabin is kick ***. My uncle has a 2009.

My Dad has the accord. And my younger brother. Sister in law. Friend. Neighbor.... It's very nice but if I was gonna buy in that class it would be one of the above, or the Altima.

Oh and PS yeah the maintenance costs scare me too for the German cars.

Yeah, me too, but I wish I had the accord. The civic coupe is no longer sexy to me, the accord kicks all kinds of ***, though.
