Whoops. Meant DE. Too many acronyms active in this thread!

My grandfather was part of the 4ID. He passed away last year and left me all of his WW2 books and related materials, including some specific stuff on the division. I also did a pretty extensive interview with him on his whole time in WW2 about ten years back, which I need to get around to re-typing and backing it up around the internet. I don't know if the word 'interesting' is a good fit for war stories, but the 4th ID had a pretty noteworthy time in Europe at the time from the first Americans in Paris to the Battle of the Bulge and, at least in my grandfather's case, being taken prisoner by the Germans in a little town in Luxembourg.

I suppose over the years there have been a lot of people in the 4th ID over the years, but your mentioning it simply struck me as a little case of it being a small world after all.

I am fascinated in finding just the right grip that will bring a 6'2 200 lb man to his knees, and leave me unscathed.

I'm sure there's some men here that would be willing to do a clinical study with you.

It's a lock and pop technique.

Bah. Ye of little faith.

Of course, I think that method probably doesn't apply for this particular target.

Many times, size is the problem, not the solution.

The guns I'm interested in, do not shoot bullets (of any kind)

I still maintain that he took the supressor off that gun to make the shot.

Grab and grip tightly. Twist 'em. Yank down. Tear 'em off like they're yours now.

Getting in a position to do this, however, may be hazardous.

That's why you use it when you're already in a position of disadvantage. So that you can get out and escape. But you probably already knew that :P

I did. I don't think Kirra did though. I think her goal was do be able to do this technique.

I was able to swing my fist back and get him in the balls like they tell you to do..doubled him over, but not enough to loosen his grip on my hair. So, maybe if I had swung back and grabbed...hmmm dunno.
