Here's one: I found out today that rooster sauce in macaroni and cheese is, in fact, edible. Its not good but its not bad either.

You are confused m'lady. Rooster sauce makes macaroni and cheese edible.

Sriracha makes everything taste better.

Oh. We don't call Sriracha "Rooster Sauce" down here.

It's good though.

Same. That stuff is a big hit in the staff house up north for the past 6 months or so. I'm going to start calling it Rooster Sauce from now on though.

I've known it as Rooster Sauce for a long time. However, I've since started using (and preferring) Garlic/Chili Sauce for a lot of the same things. I prefer the taste.

It's got the same Rooster logo on the jar, but it's not the same taste.

I've been using a LOT of it lately. I'm on my 3rd jar in 5 weeks.

It's a great drop-in for stir fry's and such. Great on eggs. Makes just about everything yummier.

Edit: Referring to the thread topic, this doesn't really qualify as a 'strange thing'. It's pretty much a staple for me, especially on this current diet Im on. It's 'free', and makes almost everything I'm allowed to eat taste better.

Looks like I'm going to have to get me some, thanks for the tip, Midgen.
