I have 17x7" Rota Torques in Hyper Black, which is essentially black with a polished back finish of silver coming through. The result is gunmetal. If I can tell you one thing about rims that color, it's this: they always look good because they never show brake dust. It just blends in until you wash the car.

I was all ready to order the gunmetals and guess what happens? Out of stock! Arghh.

Looking for some Rotas now, I really want the Vectors but I can't find any retailer online with that model. Other possibilities are the Grids. I thought Rota was supposed to be cheap! Most of these are more expensive than I expected.

I'm honestly considering buying a replacement rim used if I can find one. I really like my set and it sucks that I have to look elsewhere.

You may luck out, it depends how good your search-fu is. But I don't want to delude you into thinking it's going to be easy. There may be the very wheel your are looking for out there, same size, offset and color.

If you buy Rotas, you may have to buy through wheeldude.com as they are on the only US distributor on the internet sans local retailers. They were easy to work with but I should warn you it took me over 4 weeks to get my rims because they come from The Philippines and they may not have what you want in stock.

But they were easy to work with aside from that hassle.

Just ordered the MB Weapons, seems they're back in stock. Went with the gunmetals, no one liked the bronze.

Hope they don't take too long to ship. Don't know how much time this poor wheel has left. Rest in peace, buddy ;(.

Hell, if I'd have known the car was black, I would have suggested the bronze.

I still prefer the bronze, and I almost got them anyway, but my girlfriend hated them. 95% of the time she's my only passenger, so I decided to keep the peace! Haha.
