I'm liking a lot of these. Especially the tracer dart speed increase.

I laughed when I saw the changes. Coming from a CoD background mostly, I've never seen a developer actually make so many changes to a FPS to try & balance the weapons. A nice refreshing change imo.

God I hate grinding recon, such a PITA. I keep charging the objectives with my pistol... sigh.

Try using an all kit weapon like the G3, Thompson or M14 to help you level up recon.

The G3 gets a very nice accuracy boost when crouched.

I wish I could but I need 200 more kills with the sniper rifle to get the Long Service Sniping Weapons Combat insignia and 90 more sniper headshots to get Exemplary Marksman Combat insignia.

Is the G3 only a 10 round mag like the M14?

I have been using that with the ENG kit to try and unlock more of the stuff but 10 rounds goes fast.

G3 is 20 rounds if I remember correctly. Pretty solid all kit weapon.

M14! Love this weapon. I take recon just for the motion sensors.

Also if you have Vet status there is the M1.

One of these days I will have to figure out the veteran thing, I have played 1942, vietnam(fav) and BF2 before this.

I own real M1 a 1944 production springfield, and a M1A (Civy M14 kinda).

It's bad enough Californias silly gun laws won't let me own 20 round mags lol but the game too?

It doesn't recognize my veteran status. Tried to get it in there 5 times.

It took me forever to get it to recognize my BF2 character info but I hear if you get a hold of customer service, they can manually set it for you. I have yet to get it to recognized my BF2142 info however. Probably because that game sucked.

GTO I would kill to get my hands on a real M1 and be able to shoot it... my ring tone is the "ping"

They real M1 is VERY fun to shoot, I like it better then the M1A. It needs a rebuild now though. It just points right, and the site is great.

If you have served in the Military or have shot competitively there is an easy somewhat cheap way to get one.

Do a Google search for CMP. You fill out some paperwork prove your past service and can mail order one. I think they are still under 500. I am not a vet, but you can also get one if you shoot competitively in a NRA match. Haven't done that either but I will one of these days just to get another M1 cheap.

On a game note, I unlocked the G3, and its very nice, the iron site is nicer then the M14, its slow full auto so single shots are easy and its 20 rounds. It will be my new ENG and sniper kit weapon!

A buddy and I just got perma banned from a server for "exploitation" lol..
If I was exploiting, I think I'd have better stats. Another friend was with us but didn't have our clan tag so he didn't get banned and asked why. The guy said "because" and banned him too heh. PBB had banned three or four guys automatically due to aimbots but we had to be manually removed. Man I hate stupid people. Guess they didn't like us whoopin' their asses all night.

Our exploit is that the three of us are on Vent and coordinate our class loadout to support each other leading to Gold Squad medals for 5 games running. :p

On a good note.. I have consciously been able to raise my K/D from .66 to .70. So from shitty to not quite as shitty haha! I find that if I go after the objective 100% of the time my K/D ratio is wretched and we win. If I sit back and kill instead, my K/D ratio is way better but we lose.

Anyone else think the mentality in Conquest is far more stupid than in Rush?

I think Rush is worse personally. You can spend 20 minutes killing everyone in the damn base but since they respawn there it is really hard to clear a path to, secure and then hold the m-com stations.
