I fell down the stairs earlier this week at work, apart from the bruises and scrapes, I also got a a small hairline fracture... this means I gotta be good and not accident prone for a while, I also got banned from heels >.<

I remember the good old days where I use to get up from falls and just walk away, now my scrapped knee is keeping me up at night and I'm obsessed with changing the bandages cause it gets soaked through with ooze, so ikky...

I'm also topped up with the good stuff (some mj based pills cause I was complaining about the pain and being a general baby) and it feels like I'm walking on cloud...

This has been an interesting week

Sorry to hear that, Lyd. But, really, don't hate on the aging process. Consider the alternatives.
But, really, what's this about:

"mj based pills" - ? Like, as in Mary Jane? Crap, I'm gonna love socialized medicine, if that's what you mean.

Funny, my wife's been digging on a piece on ted.com where some guy says that eventually, medical technology will stop the aging process and let people live to 1500 or so.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering if I'd get to pick the age that I stop aging. I mean, I was in pretty good shape at 33, probably better than I was at 25 or something. What if I stopped at 26? That would kind of suck.

But no, I don't think a new body is part of the deal, unfortunately.

Nice use of the word nubile! Also will this nubile body be our own or is that an accessory for your eternal life? ;)

I've been good, I got a big scab that I've been resisting to pick at... of course considering I just had my wisdom teeth taken out, this has not been a good month eheh.

The pills are prescription only and you only get like a dose at a time, I only got told I could have 1. And yes they are mary jane based, they extract something in them which makes you feel less pain, and put it into a little white pill! hehe

They only do this if you complain enough however, last time dad went in for kidney stones, he got a couple of morphine shots up the .. er.. *cough* good thing I wasnt in the room at the time hehe.

Wow, you really did mean MJ. Just out of curiosity, do you know the brand name? Would like to look this up. Academic interest only, seriously!
