My friends and I were book shopping the other day and she wanted to pick this up. I gave her the *look*, and offered to lend her my anne rice collection instead...

The fact that they found a scrawny little kid to play the title char, should have given it away that the book's not that great.

Hard to understand why this is so popular..There is hardly any dialog in the movie. I did go see the first one, but will pass on any of the others.

I saw a great web comic that someone had created where a real vampire was telling Edward that he wasn't a real vampire and that real vampires don't sparkle etc, etc. In the last panel he points to Count Chocula and says even he's more a vampire than you. Wish I could remember who did that, it was great.
