someone I care about deeply is having major spinal surgery today (so far been delayed almost 6 hours)

I can't be with her and its killing me.

Good news, she's out of surgery and supposedly doing well. just wish I could be there.

Got to talk to her today for a little while. She's still pretty doped up and staying another day but coherent and not in extreme pain
