Anger is usually based in fear of some sort, so I try to find the fear and sooth it.

Personally, I've found that anger is usually the result of guilt, fear or shame.

Guilt = fear that you've done wrong
Shame = fear that others will know you've done wrong

I typically only get angry when someone does something intentional, knowing it'll hurt or aggravate me or mine. At that point I drop them from my christmas card list and move on.

Pretty much this:

"RAAAAAR!"
Then I ***** about it for a few minutes to Phe.
Then it goes away.

I really suck at holding grudges or retaining anger. It takes a lot of energy to do that, and I just don't have the time, will, or inclination. *shrug*

That's part of the 'dropping from Christmas card list' process.

Or I will play TF2 for a bit. Shooting people in the face is very soothing.
