My 1 yr old son treated me to a happy Father's day by waking up crying at 1:30 this morning. I couldn't get back to sleep until about 3:00 because I was uncomfortable and had a bad allergy attack. Then he was kind enough to wake up bright and early at 7:00 while mommy snoozes away.

Oh well, at least he got me Red Dead Redemption for a gift.

And of course, he is the best gift of all. I am so glad that Father's day now carries some meaning to me.

I had a great fathers day. Got up early, cleaned the pool, tested the chemistry, mowed the lawn, ran to Home Depot, and then had a BBQ. Spent a lot of time in the pool for the first time this year with the almost-2 year old, my dad, my wife's dad, and other family.

Good day.

I got a text this morning. Happy Fathers Day. Love you.

Tried to arrange dinner and a movie.

She was too tired, long day at work.

Went to see Toy Story 3 with a friend, that was pretty good.

Yippee.

Camping, canoeing, fun in the (pretty intense) sun FTW!

All my kids represented, nothing more that I could have asked for.
