Not if your age is correct.
I'm 33. Now you understand how big a fan I am.
OK, now I'm genuinely confused as to your sanity. The Dead were on tour the year I was born, and I'm 40. How could you possibly believe you've been to every one of their shows when they were touring 7 years before you were born?

Most people couldn't attend their shows pre-birth, but they aren't as big a fan as I am.

It's about deadication.

It's about dedication.

Nah, he just wanted to retire. He only told family and a few of his best fans.

Of course you wouldn't know, because you're only half-assing your fandom.

on a more serious note, i have no ink, but have been thinking about getting a dead-themed tatt for a long, long time. So, don't show me yours in case it's similar to what i might get.

Eh, mine would be pretty hard to replicate.

Deadication.

All questions about your sanity have now been answered to my satisfaction.

I'm old enough, but my deadheadiness came later in life. I was and still am an AC/DC freak.

My brother left in a van with a friend, between them they had about $200. They followed the Dead for a year, every show, and ended up making and selling T-Shirts and Coffee. Even back then, good coffee was appreciated by the Deadheads, they had a line outside the van every morning after they started selling the brewed bean. My brother got back to San Jose just over a year after he left, with the van and about $200 to his name. The friend had been dropped off about half an hour earlier. He told us how great a time it was, how the Dead would send runners to the van with orders for coffee, but no money, and how he wanted to do it again in a few years. Jerry Garcia didn't make it that long, dying in a recovery home in Marin County with a needle stuck in his hip.

The brother is still a deadhead, I just listen to the music occasionally, but do consider a number of their tunes classics that every new generation should be introduced to.

I knew Khross was a deadhead with a large recording collection. Strange, the things you remember about people.

The day Jerry Garcia died was the very first day I signed on to teh intarwebz on my own computer, in my own home. I was in middle school, and that was the very first news item that popped up on AOL's (boo, hiss!) annoying welcome feed window.
