Multiflow will take care of your multitasking issue, then. There has to be an app to allow text messaging, as well.

Even if there isn't an SMS app for a jailbroken iPad, you're still able to send emails to phones that act as text messages. There's a certain format for the address, works with anything.

I believe you have to know which carrier folks use to send email to their phones, like 5555551234@messaging.sprint.com

If that has changed, I'd love to know.

I'll give it until the end of the month to see if the iPad is worth keeping. Although I'm not sure what I'll use it for when I'm back home.

How do people use their tablet PCs for average day to day stuff?
