Greetings old friends!

It's been awhile since I've been around, but I thought you guys and gals might be interested in where I'm going.

I'm headed to Antarctica! I leave home on Wed. Oct. 7, and after a few stops along the way, I'm due to arrive at McMurdo Station, Antarctica on Tues, Oct. 13. I'll be there until around March, 2010 working as a Fire/EMS dispatcher for the McMurdo Fire Department.

Welcome, and, farewell! I toyed with the idea of working in Antarctica 20-odd years ago. Sounds like a fun adventure.
