Not being able to tell the difference between nausea from dehydration and nausea from morning sickness sucks.

Oh, that sucks Kate. The best strategy I ever found was to drink until your teeth float and resign to peeing every 20 minutes. Does chewing ginger help your nausea?

Ginger doesn't seem to help me but mint flavored gum does. I've been able to eat some things but everything I drink makes me nauseous...hence the getting dehyrdrated. I've had to resort to taking phenergan...spending an evening in the ER with IV fluids is not my idea of a good time. Ugh!

I should cook chili.

My roommate has wandered off ... again.

What day of the week is it any way?

If my boss knows I'm not going to be productive today, and is willing to pay me anyway, why do I have to *BE* here?

I'm convinced "Strata Muffins" are a short-order cook's way of serving you today the omelette bar leftovers of yesterday.

I am convinced that peace treaties could be forged if you just take two people and pop the hood on a vehicle with a minor engine problem.

Only if the parties in question are in agreement about a) the nature of the engine problem, b) the cause of the problem and c) the best way to fix the problem. But then, if they could agree on that much they probably weren't in need of a peace treaty in the first place.

I dunno dude. I've yet to see anyone actually come to blows or huff off in an engine debate. By the end of it, one way or the other A, B, and C get resolved and a lot of bonding occurs as a byproduct.

I bet Ford owners have better relationships with their fathers than Chevy owners.

LOL, every Ford I've owned has been mechanically sound and given me few problems better maintenance wouldn't solve. The one Chevy I owned was a piece of crap that gave me nothing but problems from the first month I owned it. Cavalier, lasted less than a year before I traded it in for a Ford.

Of course today, I own a 2005 Toyota Corolla, excellent car.

Leave it to Swedes to make a car that can't start in the cold.

Naturally. You should be staying in when it's cold, and Saab engineering reflects that.
