Some videos...some are alarmist hyperbole, but frightening nonetheless.

Plus, we're all doomed.

Has this been mentioned? Could turn things around...

Quote:
CNN - While cleanup crews and technical teams continue efforts to stop crude gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana lawmakers are proposing a different approach: prayer.

State senators designated Sunday as a day for citizens to ask for God's help dealing with the oil disaster.

"Thus far efforts made by mortals to try to solve the crisis have been to no avail," state Sen. Robert Adley said in a statement released after last week's unanimous vote for the day of prayer. "It is clearly time for a miracle for us."

Clearly, we should go to the newsroom of the jackass in that first video and get in the way of their job, too.

I mean, we won't be hindering anything if we talk to somebody in the green room, right?

Yay, American Media -- getting in the way of important work in the name of FREEDOM!

Talk to some of the workers after they leave for the day, out by their cars.

The media guy should have walked right past the BP guard and filmed. If he was touched he sues for assault and battery.

Nah, the guard should have shot him for trespassing. Be consistent, Elmo.

I am consistent as BP doesn't own the beach. It was only mentioned three times that it is a public beach.

Doesn't matter. Work sites aren't public access.

From what I've been told, they are only allowing people with a Hazmat certification to enter the beach.

Have any reporters tried to enter after obtaining said certification?

That would be due to federal/state regulation... no different than trying to obtain access to any other hazardous abatement project, such as lead, asbestos, etc.

If you aren't trained, escorted by someone properly trained (ie inspection tour stuff) and properly equip'd, you aren't going to gain access

Yeah, or he could have just not been a douchebag.

My father was emphatic in his teachings that one should never interfere with a man doing his job.

Work-site or no, the public has a vested interest in this. The media should, however, be tactful in it's approach. - for the media, - for BP.

They were actually pretty good. Crispy and golden brown, and salted to perfection.
