I keep wondering why we don't have some sort of drone surveillance/intelligence gathering program where our drone operators learn to spot and identify drug smuggling in known drug smuggling areas and pass that info on to local law enforcement. It would seem to me that this additional, there for-the-taking experience might be useful in Afghanistan...

It just occurred to me. We've seen the argument, on this very board, that some things, like HIGCC, we may not be 100% positive about, but we need to ACT NOW ANYWAYS because the consequences are so severe if they do turn out to be true.

So given that the consequences of this thing we're not 100% sure about are essentially vengeance killings as terrorist tactic by a foreign-harbored entity, why aren't the HIGCC regulation supporters calling for us to act because, by golly, MULTIPLE human lives is pretty darn severe, too, right?
