So my wife is pregnant and pretty close to the 12 week mark (friggin finally seems to be going right this time). I've got her some typical birthday presents, but I figured I should get her something baby-related as well. Anybody have any ideas? Her mom already got her a scrap-book type thing and she's pretty well stocked on pregnancy/newborn books.

Thanks for any help.

Wow congrats. This your first?

I got my wife a umm... hmm. I forget what they are called... snoozer is the brand. It's a pillow that lets you sleep on your side, useful later on during her pregnancy:

Along the same lines is a boppy pillow if she plans to breast feed: http://www.boppy.com/

One of those soft padded toilet seats. Not as a gift, but still. The way I hear it, she'll thank you.

Get her some awsome cocoa butter lotions that you can help her rub on her belly :). Will help prevent stretch marks and make her feel good!

Congratulations, Screeling!!! I'm sooo happy that you guys are having a sticky baby! Yay! :)
I'm a little over 10 weeks right now and I would think that pampering stuff would be good...like you could buy a wicker basket and fill it with facial masks and foot scrubs and bubble bath, scented candles, etc. Pregnancy is hard on the body and its always nice to have something to help mom relax.
As far as baby related stuff goes, I would suggest any of these albums: http://rockabyebabymusic.com/

We got the Bob Marley one and the Queen one and they are really freaking awesome! It'd be great for your wife to listen to while she rubs her tummy and bonds with baby during pregnancy.

I'm so happy for you two! *huggles* When is she due? Should be around the same time...we are due around Feb 19th.

Yay babies!!!

ROFL! Sorry about that!

"Sticky Baby" is a term expectant moms use to refer to a baby that will hopefully "Stick" around.

Spa time. Most of the women I've known well really appreciate some time at a spa, being pampered, lotioned, oiled, turned into fruit salad, have their hair done into a new style, and made to feel special and pretty.

It isn't cheap, but pampering the lady in your life on occasion helps her realize that even pregnant and growing, you still find her attractive and beautiful and value her presence and comfort.

A ring with her birthstone, and the expected birthstone of your child. (which you can change later if she is either late or early)

Seriously though, there's been a couple good ideas so far. Thank you.

LK - not sure about the due date other than 2nd or 3rd week. I thought it was like 2/12 or something right around Valentines.
