Ladykate, it's funny. I've been able to grow facial hair since I was 13 (a full beard at 14). But for most of my teens and twenties, for some reason I had the distinct impression that most women didn't like facial hair. So I kept myself clean shaven.

It wasn't until a string of bad dating luck in my mid-twenties when I said "Screw it, I am growing out a beard to show my lack of caring about how I look for the ladies!" And then, suddenly, I discovered that I was somehow even more attractive to the women I was dating.

Nowadays I usually have a beard to hide the chub in my face/chin. I call it the George Lucas Maneuver.

Thanks, Dash. Yeah, all of our family weddings are a blast. My father was the oldest of nine, and as such, I have a ton of cousins. Everyone is very fun, and outgoing, loves a good time, and are very close. Every time we get together it's a great time.

I was in my early-mid 20's in the AZ picture, and in my early-mid 30's in the wedding shot. It's not that I clean up nicely, it's that I'm a much different person now, and never really have the need to clean up.
