Girl1: What's the past tense of 'thing'?

Girl2: It's like 'sing'

Girl1: Is that 'thang' or 'thung'.

That hurt my brain to even contemplate.

Our education system doesn't need an overhaul ... right?

It's situations like these that make me seriously pondering constantly walking around with a ready (my)Dick-in-a-box.

Well, that tops the one I've been holding onto for almost 20 years.

A father, a teenage son, and a younger brother around age 10 - 12. The younger brother is making some comments and the older brother says harshly, "SHUT UP!"

The father scolds the older brother and tells him not to say that. The teenager responds with,

"But he don't speak good!!"

Bless these sorts of people Taamar, for without them we would have no such stories. ;-)

I would have asked them if they supported, or perhaps voted for, President Obama.

I think political statements belong in a different forum.

We have no rules about that. You think wrong. Besides, what I said really wasn't a specific political statement. I didn't say, "I'm sure they were." or anything of that nature. I said I would have asked.

Thungy. The 'Whedon-y phenomenon thungy'. Past tense, since it already happened.

Hahaha..

I have to hang my head in shame, as I own that CD.

Got it from one of those "buy 12 CDs for 12 cents" deals and it happened to be one of the songs stuck in my head at the time....and they had such a limited selection. I think I only seriously listen to one or two of the CDs I got from that deal, and one of 'em is "The Crow" soundtrack :)

It is pretty catchy though 8-)
