Can't you click on the YouTube placeholder icon and it'll send you to the YouTube app? I seem to recall my iPhone's browser doing that.

Also, it'd be more useful (marginally, at least) to blame your phone/Apple over their spat with Adobe, rather than YouTube.

I have a really tough time getting YouTube videos to play on my phone, too. I originally thought that the performance I experience is common to smartphone owners but recently read somewhere that T-Mobile's 3G is crap, so that might be the reason.

Sorry, but aimbot does not make 5.56mm rounds penetrate 3ft of structural concrete and rebar.

T-mobiles 3g being crap is an understatement, I hated T-Mobile so much I changed carriers after about 4 months, 3g I was lucky to get 500kbps, that's assuming I got 3g which was like never, usualy it was edge and 80ish kbps, so much happier with sprint, get around 2mbps now, 6mbps when I'm closer to boston and get 4g.
