This reminds me, when did "cowboy" become a pejorative term? Has Mexico forgotten that we've played Cowboys and Mexicans before?

I think about the time that a president from Texas got elected.

Well, it might have been the fact that he was all hat and no cattle. And a douchebag.

Like the current one is all water and no melon? And, a douchebag.

Oh wait, is that racist? Probably. Just as bad as thinking everyone from Texas is a cowboy I suppose.

Yeah, that was racist. But that sort of bigotry isn't a surprise coming from you. You're an avowed racist, and you seem to take pride in it. Stormfront ---------> that way.

And have I ever said everyone from Texas is a cowboy? No. I happen to live in Texas, you know.

By your definition of "racist" I'm just about to pull on my hood and run off to lynch me some niggers.

By the real world's definition of racist... I'm not.

So even if any of that were true, that somehow means that being from Texas or otherwise from the West/Southwest is a negative thing?

I'm sure it does in everyone-from-anywhere-that-doesn't-vote-Dem-is-bad land.

When the "progressives" realized that the image of the cowboy epitomizes self-reliance; can't have that in the collective.

Of course it does. Don't you know that everyone in the southern part of the US is a racist, homophobic, angry, fundamentalist, ignorant, misogynistic, douchebag?

Okay then let us rephrase.. it is no longer "Texas is steers and queers".

It will now be Texas is full of cattle and morons. Better?

Yes, because "queers" is a homophobic slur.

Oh, I don't think you're violent. In fact, part of me thinks you like to use racially charged language because it sets you apart and makes you appear to be daring and edgy. But you *are* an avowed racist, and I think that's a pretty sad aspect of your character. I hope you grow out of it one day. Racism is not actually a cool act of defiance in a politically correct world. It's just an act of irrational hatred and ignorance, even if your hatred is low intensity.

The entertaining thing, to me anyway, is that you're the only person here that thinks I'm racist.

Well, why shouldn't he be? After all, the rest of us are huge racists, too.

You have *said* you are a racist. Was that a lie? I see you post racist epithets and use other racially charged language with frequency. So, either you aren't a racist and just use racist language to get a cheap thrill of some kind, or you are a racist but don't actually want to own up to it.

Either way, it's pretty sad. Why use racially charged language just to get props on the internet? The things you say have meaning. Brushing off the impact of the language you choose to use is lazy. I think it was Khross that once spoke very eloquently on the difference between liberty and license. You certainly have the right to free speech, but the way you choose to exercise that right reflects on your character. If you don't actually care about that, well, that reflects on your character, too.

Or he doesn't, and your definition of racially charged language is absurd... which it is.

The only thing sad is you trying to call everything racist. You've already admitted you decide if things are racist by simply asking yourself if they are with your silly "but would it happen to a white PResident? No of course not! Racism!"

Then Monte comparisons of Obama to a monkey cannot be racist because they happened to Bush, correct?

I've said I'm a lot of things. They're probably not all true. If you think I'm racist, then I am. I don't think I really am, so I'm not, really. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Sure, language is important. I do generally pick my words with some care for maximum impact as that's all we really have on the internet. (Well, words and pictures of lolcats. I do <3's me some lolcats.) I just like to see how little it takes for you to call me racist. Which, sometimes is shockingly little.

It entertains me at work. That's pretty much it. And it entertains me even more when you react predictably and consistently to some of the **** up things I say. Dance my puppet, dance! But to be taken in a broader context, no, I really don't think I'm racist. No more than the average person in this country at least.

I don't hate illegal immigrants because they're generally brown. I hate them because they're illegal. (Hate as a general term, but it'll do.)
I don't hate violent, thuggish black people because they're black... I hate them because they're violent and thuggish.
I don't hate the incompetent indian guy on the tech support line because he's brown, I hate him because he's incompetent.
I don't hate the president because he's black, I hate him because he's an incompetent, self-aggrandizing knob.

Unlike you, I really don't give a **** *what* color someone is. I just don't see it for the most part. Stupidity and ignorance comes in all shapes and sizes and colors. It doesn't have to be white, black, brown, or any other shade in between.

You forgot to remove the k. Aside from this, I approve of this post.
