After talking to the various mercs, it didn't trouble my heart one bit to plug them in the back of the head on the way into the werehouse, and then blow up the bomb they were planting in the guy's face. Those mercs were dicks. Also, stabbing the guy in the back with the electrowrench thing to slow down the chopper. And hacking the AI of the drones so they shoot their masters was just plain fun

Yeah, once the plot sunk in and I reflected upon who the mercs really were, it wasn't really an issue. I still think zapping the guy in the back was too low, tho.

I generally follow that guy in, shoot the bomb that the other guy is setting, which blows him up. Then the guy I'm following turns around, and gets a a few rounds from the heavy pistol for his trouble

No, just lower-res textures, poor anti-aliasing, bad lighting, screen tearing, long load times (even with a mandatory install eating up hard drive space)... ;)

Depends on how well it is optimized and ported over. Course, given the history of the half-assed jobs devs do at porting over games to the PS3, it may very well suffer those things.

If it's anything like Bioware's treatment of Dragon Age across all of the platforms, the PS3 version has a good chance.

It has a chance when Mass Effect 3 comes out, (unless Microsoft has some sort of, I get the game first for a year before you can release it on the PS3 like they had with Fallout 3 DLC) because it will be developed along side the PC and 360 versions. The PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 will likely be a port and ports usually suck pretty bad.

EDIT:
That being said, all versions are inferior to the PC versions.

I think accessibility to the non-360 PS3 install base will be worth it regardless of how it turns out from a technical sense.

ME is one of those series that I consider "must plays" for any gamer.

Hope they get ME1 over to the PS3, too. ME2 won't make much sense without it.

Sucks for you! I hear the Garrus romance is decent enough, though. Jacob has the personality of a cardboard box, plus his skill and weapon choices are pretty horrible(then again, so are Tali's, except she is actually pretty awesome against geth and mechs). Then you have Thane, who has less than a year to live(but, come on...you know the miracle cure is coming). Guess you can always hold out for Liara or Kaiden.

I purchased Kasumi and Overlord last night. I haven't gotten a chance to play through Overlord, but I finished Kasumi's mission. Nothing super fantastic about the mission, but I **** love Kasumi. She is my new favorite character.
