And I'm sure the moderators can confirm I didn't report his post. If I was mistaken about him receiving sanction, perhaps it was just wishful thinking on my part. I'll point out that the moderators DID have to step in on his post and his and Shyung's treatment of a long time member of this board lead to a departure that nearly all of us will agree is NOT in the boards best interest.

"Grow a pair" refers to your general emotionalism, jumping into threads you're not involved in as soon as it shows signs of turning personal, and thin-skinned victim responses to cricticism of ANY sort.

Heck, most the time I do jump in its not because its aimed at me, but someone else. Standing between someone and their attacker != thin skinned
But by all means, lets drag out everyone's historical posts and flay them for every little thing we don't approve of, particularly in their personal lives. Or simply complaining about some aspect of their lives they're not happy with. Shall I go to the Rants section? I'm sure we can pull out things we dont approve of for everyone. You mention your thyroid problem=Victim card. Someone is having problems finding a job=Victim card. Someone not making enough money when their assumed net worth is > 95% of the Glade=Victim card.

The point here is that None of those things are 'victim card' worthy, EVERYONE has something they're not happy with. And in this (highly warped, but still functioning) community, people sometimes air grievences. Some of us just don't feel the need to flay others for their problems, self-created or not.

The DIFFERENCE is that some of us don't feel the need to launch a crusade against individuals we disagree with politically by resorting to personal attacks.

And before you say "Well thats what you did to Khross" I'll remind you that Khross used his personal 'plan to renounce citizenship' in hellfire, as an arguing point, and to sell a political theme.

You know, since you want to keep bringing this up. I've taken a teaching position at a European University for next fall. I will also, likely, be looking at establishing my permanent residence in Slovenia. But, none of that matters one bit when there are extenuating personal responsibilities, which, ironically, means I put my money where my mouth is regarding my politics and philosophy.

But, that's what you don't get. We don't care what you do in the real world. We don't even care who you want to sleep with or why. We do care about you being a threat to yourself, because that's how your rants come off. We do care about your behavior in this community, because you run to the Mods when someone discusses how Bayseian language comparison works in very general terms and from a position of knowledge. And we really care when you outright fabricate some sort of drama by lying about the actual private exchange in a public space.

And Khross has once again jumped to the wrong conclusion. Did I ever state that Rynar was the only person making the charges? Did I ever state that I was referring to PMs? Nice try again Khross, but I can dismiss Rynar just fine. It was PM's and messages across multiple forums, multiple PMS and multiple posters that warrented the post.

Do you even read what you type? Do you even read the responses to what you post? All you're doing right now is throwing a tantrum without considering the following things: 1) your behavior, 2) your posting history, 3) the exact meaning, context, and origination of a quote of you used to describe your own sexual activity.

Now, we can kind of forgive 1. We can probably overlook 2 for a time. But 3 is absolutely unforgivable when you've gone to great lengths to claim that you are intentionally reticent with complete details on this subject. And, in the absence of any further information than originally provided, you made a gross error in judgment. However, the confluence of your posting history, your posting behavior, and your claimed behavior on these very forums and this post:That doesn't take a genius to figure out ...

Personally, I didn't associate the term with child molesters until this issue came up on the board.

And Shuyung, the title of your thread was pretty mean and immature. You weren't very nice about it and you could have handled it without being so harsh. It would have hurt my feelings for sure, and Micheal is a really nice guy who generally is very polite and respectful to everyone around here...you could have given him the same courtesy when pointing out his alleged mistake.

Since the alleged harassment occurred in PMs, did you ask them to stop in PMs before making this thread? If you asked them to stop in PMs and they didn't, did you report the harassment to the mods before making this thread?

I'm having a hard time believing that your only objective here is to make the harassment stop.

Its obvious that this has not been drilled through you skull yet-- I've not asked for ANYONE to get in trouble over these allegations against me. I WILL report behavior outside hellfire that crosses forum rules, but I'm as likely to do it for someone else as I am here--that is a SEPARATE issue though. I DO demand that people stop repeating this charge. That is *NOT* an unreasonable request. Furthermore, libel is a crime.
