Eh...I'll take my Four Peaks Kiltlifter over anything San Diego has to offer.

Portland #3? Really? I'd like to think we're at least #2. :P

NYC is kind of hard to top, I think San Diego must have had a home team advantage.

Not surprised to see Philly on the list, but ... kinda scratching my head over Denver not making it.

Neither of the writers are from anywhere near San Diego so far as I can tell, Mike. Googling this whole thing though has brought me many laughs. Sooooo much drama coming out of Oregon.

Oregonians are sensitive about their beer. Some damn fine microbreweries up there.

It is all a matter of preference anyway. I know people who still think Budweiser is a great beer.

I bite my tongue, frequently.

Don't you dare start dissing on our Beer. Vastly superior to anything else (except out of Germany, natürlich. Or Holland...or Belgium...)

Like I said, its all a matter of preference. Most wines taste like spoiled grape juice to me.

I cannot stand the taste of wine. Turns my stomach just thinking about it.

I like wine, but red wine gives me a headache and makes my face flush.

And Lenas, don't be so defensive. I was just giving a shout-out to my favorite local brew.

Red Wine > white (except Reisling)

Hm. I always had you pegged for a Zinfandel guy.

Elmo is a red muppet after all.

Though truthfully, Zinfandel is a wine I could associate Elmo with.

Huh.

Micheal: Scotch on the rocks
Arafys: Mad dog 20/20
Elmo: Mojitos. I don't know why.

A name blended Scotch on the rocks was my bar drink of choice for the last few years I was drinking heavy LK. (well scotch is usually pretty horrible). Unless I could afford single malt anyway. After a few drinks you might as well go to the next level down, you can't appreciate the good stuff anymore.

I don't even know what a Mojito is.

Ah. Just for some reason I could see you relaxing by the fire with a good book and a glass of scotch.

I'm also not really sure what I Mojito is, but it looks tasty on the commercials. Fresh mint leaves. Mmmm.
I have no idea why it makes me think of Elmo.
Elmo are you fresh and minty??

Wine is terrible, and proof that how sheepish people are. If Jesus drinks it, that means everyone else will gag it down while pretending to love the stuff. It tastes like soured **** and a bit of alcohol mixed in.

We all know Jesus drank Belgian style ales when he was out of the public's eye.
