The Glade 4.0

Here is the conversation that sparked the poll.

Aegnor has previously expressed his woes that this board is flagged as a gaming site, and he is unable to check it at work. I am sympathetic to his plight, and I hope that the solution Mookhow has chosen to enact will fix that problem (although I doubt it as long as the Gaming subforum itself exists). The issue of the Glade being flagged as a gaming site is outside the scope of this poll. I am asking solely based on board appearance and convenience of use.

After a post made by Squirrel Girl earlier this afternoon, I became aware that some people read those subforums without participating. It occurred to me that some people who do not necessarily have a horse in the race have an interest in the outcome. Before I began to pester Mookhow with another brilliant idea, I wanted to gather feedback.

I have a suggestion... why not move the Gaming section over to the other spot, and have it be what we need to register for. And then have WoW and all of the PbP subgroups as subforums of the Gaming section. I think there are probably enough people on the board who do not game to have that work...

Whatever my players and observers want. So long as we can settle into something with Management. I don't know that messing with stuff short of splitting to a subdomain will fool the filters.

Personally I use subscriptions to know when the games are updated so placement is not an issue for me.

I'm indifferent I guess. I primarily use 'The Glade' link in the nav bar to do my perusing here, and don't really notice the gaming forums much.

Occasionally my ADD/OCD will get the best of me, and I'll just down there and mark everything read, but I usually don't give it a thought...
