Ok, it was more like 5 minutes. And it wasn't really fame...but it was a big leap for me....
My friend asked me to sing in her wedding, which I did, at the end of May at the City Museum in St. Louis.
I have sang and played in public with my guitar all of 3 times in my life. (One open mic nite in college and two "stepping in and helping a friend at a bar gig" for one or two songs.)
This was the first time I brought all my own equipment and everything and had my own "gig."
Scared to death, but I survived....my friend's wedding photos just came out and they got my pic in front of a poster which turned out pretty funny because its a guy with a guitar and the same colors that I'm wearing.
