I'm sitting here listening to my son work on his math worksheet:
"He crosses out the eight, and puts a seven, he is making some amazing moves, Bob!....Ok! The answer is 55! And THEN!...let's see what he does...after the break! Wal-Mart, I'm saving you money after the rollbacks. My two best friends? Ben and Jerry. We're back from the break, Bob. Ok Rick! Let's see what Taylor does now. Oh he takes the 7 and crosses it out...making it a six! Beautiful play! And the answer is 36! Only two more questions....he needs to borrow again, so he quickly crosses out the 8 and makes it a 7. What's he going to do next? He crosses out the two to borrow again, he is on fire! ...and the answer is 27! Let's see if he finishes the page...no need for a commercial yet, Bob, its the last problem on this side of the page!...and then, the answer is 65!!! HE IS A WORLD CHAMPION!!! WOOOO!!!!"
I am rolling on the floor laughing. He is literally giving himself a play-by-play as he works each problem and I was trying to type as fast as he was talking...if I did the whole thing I'd have 3 pages of dictation.
Highly effective...he's getting his math done and the answers are all correct.
