Okay, I've been slacking. Some costume highlights at the Con for your geeky pleasure.
The most awesome Deadpool costume I've seen to date:
I was surprised to find a few very awesomely done Warhammer 40k costumes:
Batgirl and Robin:
Castle Crashers:
These Blues Brothers were absolutely fantastic:
Batman!:
A Companion Cube (I felt sorry for the guy; I don't think he had armholes):
LOTS of Blackest Night costumes -- A bunch of Red Lanterns I didn't get shots of (though there was a fantastic Laira that I didn't have time to stop). In that vein, though, Blue Lantern Flash:
And a Kyle Raynor (with a light-up ring!):
Abby, from NCIS -- I actually saw, I think, 3 of them over the course of the weekend, which was kind of a head-scratcher for me:
Saw two Transformers costumes, I liked the Hot Rod better than the Bumblebee, who was kind of spindly from the waist down (and whose picture I misplaced):
These two were fantastic. They carried around their bases, and would stop to pose for several minutes at a time (during which they were remarkably still, too... when I first encountered them, approaching obliquely from behind, I wasn't sure if they were actually statues or not). Drew a crowd, needless to say.
Lara snuck in on my Avengers shot. Captain America was nearby, too, but involved in a conversation with another group, and I didn't want to interrupt:

Samuel L. ([Nick]) Fury:
Marty McFly -- I actually noticed the hoverboard, first, and this was in the vendor room, so I did a double-take when I realized it wasn't some odd (and obscure) score of a purchase, but a full-blown costume:
I'm not sure these two knew each other; I got the impression they were both standing nearby in the line, and chatted each other up due to matching costume source material. The Comedian and Rorschach:
Saw several Kick-Asses and Hit Girls. These two were, IMO, the best of the group (though, as I pointed out to Farskee, all the Hit Girls were way too tall for the role...):
A gutsy Cyclops costume (I mean, the only more dorky versions are the two that actually had the yellow underwear look!):
Found a Leela in Artist Alley:
My favorite of the Dr. Horribles. What set him apart? Wonderflonium and nailing the pose:
Again, the pose sold this costume nicely:
The TF2 crowd was out in force. Managed to find two Pyros consorting together despite their team rivalry:
Found R2-D2 rolling around. The little kid was so cute, he initially hid behind his mom's legs when he rolled up:

I was mad. Two seconds after I put my camera away, somebody else posed as a Falcon Punch victim. Captain Falcon:
Two very awesome pulpy costumes, The Phantom and The Rocketeer, and it seemed they knew each other:
Speaking of pulp, here's me with modern pulp revival author, Bobby Nash (modern owner of the Lance Star rights), after the Pulp panel (he wanted a picture with me, actually, saying "when I walked in and saw you, I said to myself, "This guy gets it" -- it's like [Lance] walked right off one of my pages!" I took it as high praise, made walking around in Atlanta all summer's day in a leather jacket worthwhile. =)
