passed away on Tuesday. Most likely it was a massive heart attack or stroke.

I've posted before about his problems, and it seems that his deteriorating health finally caught up to him. I'm not usre how I feel; I'm sad, but more sad that he flushed the last 2 years of his life down the crapper. I'm sort of relieved that he's not deteriorating and slowly sliding down any more. He had seemed to be getting better these past few months but now it seems he really wasn't as much as it appeared; he'd been letting a lot of buisness just slide.

Evidently on Tuesday he was supposed to meet with his soon-to-be-ex to discuss the house they were selling (turns out now the divorce was never final) and didn't show up. She got worried and called me, and I was going to go over to see if he was home when he didn't answer his cell. My wife suggested having her mom go over since she lives much closer and could get there a lot faster. She did, and saw him laying on the floor of his house through a window. Then she called the police, the ambulance, and me, but he had been gone for some hours.

Memorial service is on tuesday. It's been a tiring couple of days; I;ve got other stuff going on too.
