I normally sport what I call a "Riker Beard" most of the time now. But today I felt like going clean-shaven for a while. But then I thought, why not have some fun with it for a few days?

I thought it would be a good laugh (and it was). But the more I look at it, the more I think I can pull off the look.




If you can't tell from the background items, this was taken in my game/computer room. The map is a map of Faerun, from Baldur's Gate 2. Opposite of that wall is a cloth map of Everquest, circa February 2000.

This is Moraine Lake in Banff National Park. There was no one else around so I had to try the selftimer on a dirty ol' stump, hence why the photo is crooked. Looks kind of neat I think though.

This is myself and my best friend's wife at our First Annual Fruity Drink Party last summer (Second annual is in 17 days, woohoo!)



Last August a bunch of us rented a party boat in a town near here called Sioux Lookout which took us on a nice hour or so leisurely cruise to a fabulous lodge on the other end of town for some lovely dinner. It was a bit chilly but sunny and calm, and sooo much fun. I want my own boat so bad.

A bunch of my family and I climbing Dunn's Rivers Falls also last October, which was one of our ports of call on a cruise we all took. So much fun!

My otherbest friend and I took a trip to visit some friends in New York City last November. I saw the Rockettes perform at Radio City and it was amazing! And yes I am freely admitting I liked the dance show, I challenge any man to watch those ladies do their thing and not be impressed

Same friend and I took a week long trip to Tokyo back in March. Here we had the bright idea to rent bikes to zip around the town of Kamakura for the afternoon.



We found a small corner in the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in order to have an epic battle for the ages.

This is at my best bud's Stag & Doe in May(its like a fund raiser for the engaged couple's wedding. Everywhere seems to call it something different). The Groom's wife is the girl you saw earlier in the Fruity Drink Party photo



Later on that month all us guys went up to my family's cottage for my buddy's bachelor party / weekend. This is me at the wheel of my uncle's powerboat...and oh my god I want one so bad. New life goal was made that weekend.



At the beginning of June I had to go down to Memphis for simulator training for my job / aircraft. My coworker and I decided to hit Beale St. on Friday night before heading back to Toronto after we were all done. This is the best photo of me we got that night as we were both celebrating passing the course and we obviously quite inebriated. I have no idea who these people are.



And finally here is me at the wedding about 6 weeks ago with my "date".

Taken at a recent wedding, the girl on the left is my daughter, she's 19 now - with extended non-blood family. Only her and the one right next to her are single though the one in the middle gets the second most stares. The ladies on the right are old friends, and as said, non-blood family. Wish the picture had included more of the kid, but that's okay. I'll find another one soon.
