Nope. It was serious speculation within /gu chat whether it was you or not.

My theory was that Uinan might have originally been a product of the random name generator for you, and thus, again, for somebody else.

Uinan, send a tell to Razael when you get a char rolled. He's online now and can guild tag you. I can also walk you through getting set up with a merc, some tool boxes, perusing the guild bank for some gear, etc..

With talk of alchemy in /gu last night, since it's a shaman only skill I should probably muddle in it some. At least for gate potions for melees. And advice on how to start / skill up quickish? I heard there are starter quests for trade skills, do they include Alchemy?

Never done alchemy, but if I were to, this would be where I would start.

I think NephyrS has done some on his shammy, so he may have some tips too.

You are pretty good at tacking a face pummeling though, credit where credit is due.

I noticed there's a snare potion....

It was vendor stuff. So now, with alchemy up to 90 and some better jewelry gear my funds are getting a bit lower.

If there are any particular potions you guys would like access to , let me know. I was going to use Damage shield ones for skills ups next, I'll place them in the bank if they are successful. Gate potions will be big I am sure, but they are going to be expensive. One component buys at 46PP and I will fail combines for sure, but as I get better I'll try to put some in the bank too. Snare potions seem like a good idea, so I'll look at making a few of those too.

On Rathe, the only potions I buy, s a ranger are haste, clarity, heal over time, and the elemental elixirs.

If those are in your skill up range, not only will they be handy, but likely to sell well to recoup costs.

Keep your eyes peeled for these things for Haste, Clarity, HoT, Healing and AC / HP buff potions instead of buying them:

Level 10 needs Amanita Phalloide from unrest mobs
Level 20 needs White Hellebore off South Karana Gnolls
Level 30 needs Frosty Datura from dreadlands tundra yetis
Level 40 needs Black Henbane from kobolds in Sol B
Level 50 needs Autumn Crocus POP zones, Sanctus Seru, Or foraged in Srra Temple
Since we're pausing at 52(?) I won't go to 55+

Oh. I've been stashing tradeskill drops I've been getting. Lots and lots of spider silks, some random foodstuffs, pelts, ore, jewelry stuff, and things that I estimate are poison (or maybe potion?) stuff.

Feel free to let me know if anything would be helpful as you guys ponder starting tradeskilling, might save a bit of coin.

Right now, I'm happy to hold onto all this junk, as it's not like my bank is filling up with other stuff and I don't feel like I need the cash I'd get by selling it, but it's way too bulky to load into the guild bank.

Skinspikes and Gate Potions are in high demand (and over priced when available).

So DE, the case of the mysterious experience gain is solved.

Jemi explained that 30 AAs is the most you can have banked. After that exp reverts back to normal exp regardless of the setting.

This must have happened just as I burned Lesson, because I went from 42% into 52 to 15% into 53 really really fast...

Anyway, the problem has been solved. Raz is back to level 52, and there is a pile of corpses under the golem at the DE city in Overthere ;p

I spent 10 more AA buying potion belt and bandolier slots (useful!).. so I have 10 more AA's to play with until I have to stop playing him or risk dinging back over to 53 again.

I haven't really looked at tradeskills. I've been too busy grinding.

Aye. I personally leveled a few % into 53, as the next tier of DoN vendors opens up then.... But it's a simple single kill from the city guards for me to be back at 52.

I've checked a few times and have yet to see Vox or Naggy up.... Has anyone else had any luck?

We might need to have a guild chat at some point about how long we want to wait, and specifically what we want from them- if it's just nostalgia, or if we actually need drops. From what I recall, all the drops from Nag/Vox also drop off of their Kunark counterparts.

Talendor in Skyfire Mountains drops everything Nagfen does, and Gorenaire in the Dreadlands drops everything Vox does.

I'm fine with staying around 52 nearly indefinitely (I can just swap to alts to level), but it might be worth chatting about.

If we wanted a more long-term stopping point, 55 gives us all tons of AAs to buy, and we can start tackling Velious and Kunark raids/high end content as well as Fear/Hate/Sky for our Epic 1.0s.

Might be an interesting idea to lock at 55-59 (depending on what we all want) until everyone has their 1.0/Velious Quest armor or somesuch. Give us a good goal to work towards in addition to the level; make sure we get to play in some of the content.

I know I want my Class BP off of Trak!

Do Kunark dragons banish? If not they can be done at any time.

Is the velious quest armour any better than the defiant drops that are going on? Or is it viable to stay in Defiant all through?

As I mentioned before I'd be interested in doing Vox since I never did her the first time round. My ranger pretty much stayed outside and i didn't do alot of the dungeon crawls that were fun when they happened. I am not going to be one to say everyone has to wait while I do old world dragons though. I'd be fine skipping them if getting everyone together with mobs up is hard.

If the XPing situation becomes complicated, like it has for Razael, it seems like moving to a holding point where usable AAs to purchase is an option makes sense. Holding at 52 is allowing some of the others to catch up, Grouse and Tobi are right around 40 and Kyvas put on 4 levels in the last day or so. It'd be nice to have us all at least at groupable levels to open up options for xp grouping.

Oh, and Canni 2 is getting a little old now, 3 would be nice. The AA canni is Class, which is restricted to level 59? Is that right?
