If that the one where the army captures Jason by laying a trap for him with the showering girl?

I remember laughing at the doctor who was working on his corpse. His slimy black heart begins to beat and the doctor looks at it like, "Man, I'm starving what's there to eat around..... oh hello!" and then... Chomp!

Just watched Thankskilling, about a killer zombie Turkey.

It's in the running for the Best Bad Awesome movie award.

Beware though, the killer turkey steals all the great lines.

Well, I may have to put a big warning on there in case your imaginations are running wild at the possibilities.

The town that the movie takes place in is basically a town full of nothing but vampires, and they are vampires who just want to live in peace and forsake being the killers that their instincts want them to be. Carradine is the leader (if I remember right) of this peaceful vampire movement.

Bruce Campbell, being a descendent of Van Helsing, is there to infiltrate the colony and try to destroy them. He's less "Ash" and more "Autolycus" if I remember right.

The main threat comes from a splinter group of vampires who don't want to try and live peacefully with humans, and want nothing to do with Carradine's ways.

But, like I said, I enjoyed this flick.

Shhhhhh... you had me at "Bruce Campbell".

A campy yet fun Vampire movie that also has Bruce Campbell as a descendant of Van Helsing: "Sundown - The Vampire in Retreat." I haven't seen it in years but remember enjoying it.

Edit: Oh yeah, David Carradine is the main vampire. :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I remember seeing part of this years ago, and really wanting to see the rest, but have never been able to figure out the name of it. This was probably one of the first things I ever saw Bruce Campbell in.

HAHA, just looking at the cover art for Sundown, and Army of Darkness. The similarities are amusing.

Autopsy:

Crap. Awful production value, tries to shock you with gore but was so off-wall-hokey that it comes off as gratuitious.

Drag me to Hell -

Loved it. It builds up nicely, much creepiness and it has Evil Dead-style humor in it.

I absolutely HATED Drag me to Hell. By the time the movie was over I was rooting for the main female character to bit it horribly.

And HOLY CRAP!!! I forgot exactly how bad Jason Goes to Hell really is... I am 10 minutes in and suddenly I remember why I did not see Jason X until 2 years ago...

Disagree! Drag me to Hell was GREAT.

As well, Jason goes to hell was stupid, but at least Jason X was entertaining. Nitrogen-countered!

Amusement:

This film was terribly rushed. You walk away with the feeling that they left about 50% of the film on the editting room floor. Really wanted all the heroines to die horrible, horrible, deaths. There is a difference between "conveniently scary-movie stupid" and just "plain bone-stupid." These heroines were utterly unbelievably stupid so it was impossible to sympathize.

Hellraiser: Bloodlines is actually quite good and a great tie-up to the whole series.

....... unfortunately some asshat decided it wasn't the last in the series. But, if you're like me and pretend that no movies exist afterward, it's awesome.

Yeah, it was good. Also, if you just ignore the fact that Hellraiser V is a hellraiser movie, it's pretty good. (It was not written as a hellraiser movie, they just tacked it on in hopes of getting some more money).

Dead Alive:

Best campy horror movie I have ever seen. I was expecting something scary-ish but it was not at all instead it was just plain awesome.

Survival of the Dead:
Romero's Hatfields v. McCoys. All in all it was very blah. The undead played second fiddle to the family-feuding.

I was just going to post the movies I saw this year, but if you're going there I highly recommend Death of a Ghost Hunter. Low-budget but super creepy. Made me and my ex jump.

My wife and I just watched Death of a Ghost Hunter on Netflix. Pretty decent flick. Genuinely creepy. Recommended.

I'm planning on watching Let the Right One In next. I wanted to watch it tonite, but the wife said she's not in the mood for subtitles. I really want to see the original before the American remake comes out on Friday.

I watched In the Mouth of Madness years ago, but I don't remember much about it, for some reason. I'll have to watch it again, soon! Keep the suggestions coming, guys.

If you wanna see a FSKED up movie, watch Girly.

No on-screen violence, no on-screen sex. It's rated R, but from 1970. I'm extremely surprised I made it all the way through, but I couldn't turn it off for some reason, I just had to see what the hell the deal was. Just... what the hell man.

(Also, part of me knows, I will eventually watch this again to show it to someone else.)
