Thursday and Friday nights are best for me, but I can probably squeeze in a quick game or two on most nights.

I watched the PvT replay. Seemed like some brutal map control to try & contend with.

Yeah, he definitely had map control with his Observers, which made it difficult to spot. Hallucinations, Phoenixes, things like that ... I might have had any answer. But late Mass Storm and Observers (that I didn't consider) made it a difficult game for me.

Storm and Chargelots are really good vrs the bio ball but when you got those Battlecruisers out I was kinda like... uh oh. My minerals were stupidly high but my gas wasnt since I uh... forgot to put probes on some assimilators. Ahem. Whoops.

I tend to over do it on observers. I'm always paranoid of cloaked banshees or DT's or burrowed crap.

I also needed more Ghosts in that game. A lot more Ghosts, but you had so many Templar.

I ended up being longer than expected heh. I'll be on again tonight though. Zerg I play against seem to fast expand a lot, ling rush or roach rush and then go into a muta harass.

Yeah, I'm trying to come up with a solid early 1 base Zerg Strategy.

Well I have no experience playing zerg but I can tell you what I hate to see from them. Hydras pwn gateway units in large numbers. Tons of spine crawlers suck although usually I can make my way around them and hit buildings or mineral lines.

Mutas suck because they can harass my base, but they're not really 'early'. Super early roaches at my base suck. Hmm what else.

Oh man, I'll see if I can find the replay, it wasnt early but some guy banelinged my 3 zealots blocking my ramp, then rushed in with his speedlings and ravaged my base. I remember thinking, damn that was cool! As I died horribly.

Yeah, early Banelings might be the thing, but they're kind of gas/mineral intensive. I did play mostly 2v2s last night, which was kind of fun. In one, which was PPvPP, I went 2 Gate Robo and my partner went 2 Gate Phoenix. It being all Toss, our opponents went 4 Gate Zealot/Stalker. Mind you, because of Phoenixes and my Immortals, we had Map Control and resource control. So when it came time for the end, the only comment from our opponents was, "Ok, that's kind of silly."

I had 72 Probes, 2 Observers, 6 Immortals, 35 Zealots, 11 Sentries, 5 Stalkers.

My partner had 56 Probes, 36 Phoenixes, 40 Stalkers, 5 Colossi, and 2 Observers.

It was just disturbing to watch what happened to them. They abandoned Void Rays after an early harass.

Oh crap I'd like to see what 36 Phoenixes looks like. 72 probes is crazy. In a good way.

72 Probes looks like 3 bases with 24 probes each ...

It was more disturbing to watch me warp in 18 Gate Units at a time while building 2 immortals at a pop ... and not being able to Spend all my monies
