I only get buggered by Rays if I don't find a hidden gateway way out in no mans land somewhere. Need to send a viking to scout distant area's more often.

Well, this particular game was just amusing. The guy cannon walled himself off pretty tight, so I went 5 Rax with Tech Labs, 2 Star Ports (1 Reactor, 1 Lab), and had the following army:

84 SCVs, 24 Ravens, 20 Vikings, and 28 Marines (Stim, Shields, 3/3).

I had 5 expansions up. It was scary when we fought.

Two back to back interesting games. 1st is vrs a Zerg who used a Nydus to the back of my base and charged with 14 roaches. Second is a Protoss Cannon Rush I managed to beat. Not sure how I missed his forge and cannons I knew he was up to something and missed it anyway!

Funny game, TvP on Lost Temple.

I did some pretty heavy scouting/harass with a pair of reapers for several minutes. When he planted stalkers around his main's edges, I pulled them back to watch towers. Then, at around 70 food, I began to SLOWLY move my force out across the map looking to gain map control to safely expand... He gets a probe shot while it was scouting and instantly quits cause I was holding the middle of the map.

WTF? LOL

I had a pretty good game tonight, TvZ. Going back over the replay I think it might just be the best game I've pulled off, from a perspective of doing what I need to do, remembering *many* of the things I should be remembering as well as other stuff.

Though one habit I'm noticing, is that even though I know to make a push & expand, sometimes if I feel very comfortable, I'll neglect expanding, in my head thinking "pft I don't need to, this is going so well!" but I really should.

But over all, I'm quite pleased with this game of mine, even if my opponent may not of been so great. He was however in Silver, and I still toil away in the lowly bronze. Would love any possible input on my progression as a player.

Nice win Uinan, you stomped him from beginning to end. You actually had it won at the 10 minute mark had you rallied your forces up from your base to push him.

Bear in mind I play very little Terran. My one overall comment by way of input would be to simplify a bit. You had marines, marauders, vikings, tanks, thors, medivacs and even that ghost with the nuke at the end (nice touch btw ;) ). That's a LOT of different tech! Seemed like you wanted to be prepared for every contingency and he really only had zerglings and banelings the entire game. Well and a billion spine crawlers hah. I think just filtering down a bit would be good and be more confident in your forces. Pull back when you need to certainly, but yeah with MMM + tanks, it's a walkover.

Not sure if you got it by the end but noticed no stim. Stim is ridiculously good and doubly so with medivacs. Good game!

Yeah, the ghost was 100% me feeling cocky and thinking "Yanno what, I'm going to drop a nuke to end this."

My unit comp has been shifting a lot lately. I used to go almost nothing but 3M, and I have gotten a lot of wins with nothing but 3M, but it feels sort of unrewarding. I then discovered the use of Tanks as more then just a static defense back in the base.

Thors, I will admit where used entirely due to my never ending fear of mass mutalisks when I face zerg players. The vikings I had for similar reasons. Help to combat muta's plus harass overlords. I face palmed when I watched the replay and saw how low I had two of those over lords when I inadvertently pulled my vikings away from killing them.

No problem and yeah, I haaaaate Mutas. Hate em.

Gotta enjoy the game so I understand trying new stuff. Tanks were great, I'd work on tank play then. Have them set up and use the medivacs to spot for them so they can shoot farther and up ramps etc. Practice leapfrogging them. Stuff like that.

It's easy to fall into the "man this unit would be awesome here". I do it all the time. Too spread out though and you'll lose to a more focused force usually. In that game you really had your way with him so yeah all good =)

3v3 or 4v4 producing only 1 unit.

Exceptions are Zerg can make queens nad overseers. Toss can make Observers.

That said, I just won the most lopsided game ever.
