Now that the 'slow mounts' are 150%, its not as much of a rush to upgraded to artisan as it used to be.

Personally, I'd just get in on some Heroic Culling of Stratholme timed runes, and get the drake from there instead of forking over the cash for a 280% mount elsewhere, at least right off. Enough people have the drake now that every time I run, either no one takes it or one person might need it.

And it's a drake, which is much cooler than a gryphon.

Mine generally goes Surv > Destro > Blood > Combat > Ret > Enh. Rest is pretty variable. One of our tank has a DW Frost offspec who does very very well, though he probably reads more on his offspec than most do on their main.

Got a new personal best DPS on Koralon 25 today. Was #1 at 5.5k, I was pretty happy with it!

Anyways, any suggestions on good places to farm Frostweave? I'm up to 429 Tailoring and now its going to take a fair chunk to get to the higher levels.

Our dps is usually topped by a combat rogue, followed by 5-6 different people (of which I am one) that switch back and forth depending on the fight and who is in the raid. The rogue is one of the best geared people on the server, 245+ gear in pretty much every slot. Pretty much everyone else is in Ulduar 25 gear or better. I'm in a mixture that covers 213 to 245. Unfortunately they do 25m toc on the only raid night of the week I can't make due to classes, so I don't get anything from there.

Combat rogues are getting pretty ridiculous though. Spreadsheets show theoretical dps numbers getting very near 10k (perhaps passed by now, due to more info on heroic 25m toc drops). I'm still stuck with mut when I raid due to weapons only dropping on nights when I'm not there. Was finally able to upgrade from anarchy (dagger from 25m sapphiron) just this past week when I got a black knight's rondel.

I hate random loot .

The 245 is what, the item level?

Correct. 245 is ToC 25 normal gear.

I pull 8k Beasts, 9k on Jaraxxus, 7-8k on Champions, 12-14k on Twins, and 7-8k on Anub'Arak. Except for our Shadow Priest, all of our DPS is at least 20% higher than that except Twins, which is a goofy fight.

Ally or Horde hunter, Khross? I assume both are MM. Are you stacking any particular stat? I didn't follow how much the ArP nerf hit MM hunters. If you are still stacking ArP, is your rotation Chim > Aimed > Steady x4?

Edit1, it would seem your ally hunter is still stacking ArP, unless you consider >500 normal (Edit 2, Lehnis has 564... Guess it IS normal). Judging from your keeping of the 4pc T8 I assume you're still using Steady a lot, which would make sense if you're using it 4 times a rotation.

Perhaps I should give Marks another shot. I think my personal best dps was 8.7k on a Twins fight.

Horde Hunter. Alliance Hunter is about 10% behind my Horde Hunter at the moment. There are some scaling issues involved in upgrading at the moment. I'll need a Trophy before I break the T8.5 set bonus. And then 2 more and new gloves before I go much further. And my rotation is generaly RF > SrS > Aimed > StS > StS > Chimera > Readiness > Aimed > StS > StS> Chimera > StS > StS> Aimed ... etc.

Why do you delay Chimera so long, to get the most effect out of the initial Serpent?

So went in to ToC last night in my shitty gear, and came out #7/8 overall in DPS/Damage done. above both rogues in DPS, *just* behind one of them in damage done.

Top DPS were 3 hunters, a DK and our 2 locks.

10 or 25? What were the actually numbers around?

25. Top dps was like 6k or so. According to my recount, I was 4235, and Dark was 4253. (Got my numbers backwards I think. I'll have to pull out the WoL parse when Tulz gets off his *** and posts it )

And this is for overall damage for the whole night. VOA, then ToC 25 all the way through Anub.

Any good ideas on the fastest way to quickly grind out some Gladiator gear upon approaching 80? Is Savage Saranoite still worthwhile or is it quicker to gear up as a tank to grind badges for Gladiator Gear? Farm BG's?

I decided to make this war my PvP char, always was my favorite toon especially for PvP.

Farm heroics, use conquest badges to buy visible deadly pieces. Farm WG quests and other BG's for honor to buy the accessories (probably the 50k trinket first, then boots/cloak, belt, rings/neck).

Also, make sure to run vault 10/25 every week and hope to get lucky on some war drops.

I was thinking that, but the problem is, coming fresh into 80 on a toon with no support from other chars on the serve he is on, he's going to be weak for farming badges. I hated dragging people on my DK and Priest through 5mans, so it's not like I can scratch their back for them scratching mine.

I was wondering if farming honor for the Visible pieces is quicker than badges.

Chimera Serpent is fixed, regardless of how long it ticks. However, by the time I do Chimera, Greatness is up and my Mjolnir has procced. The split 2 steady Aimed 2 steady Chimera sequence gives me fewer wasted Improved Steady Shot procs as well. I've been testing this for a little over 3 weeks now, and my Piercing Shots damage has gone up pretty significantly, too. At the very least, you should prioritize Aimed Shot over Chimera Shot once you achieve 500 passive ArP.

Serp > Rapid > Aimed > Steady x2 > Chim > Readiness > repeat

Edit, just did 9.4k on Twins 10... my personal high, still not convinced.
Edit2, 5112 overall through a clear of ToC 10. I'm sure there's a learning curve, but not impressed.
