Congratulations Darkroland. Your life as you know it is over. After all the fun and joy of babyhood, toddlerness, sugar and spice and slice your face off if you don't get her a pony, well in about 13 years you're going to be remembering the thoughts going through your head when you were that age.

Really, start putting all of your disposable income into a few safe unknown accounts that she won't be able to find when she decides you need to take her to Disneyland and see Daddy, you have the money right here.

But really, congratulations, they are fun for the first long stretch. Still expensive though.

My daughter is 19.

It has been a roller coaster ride, large highs, scary descents, sharp turns, and someone to hug at the end of the day.

Every age was good until she hit teenager.

I'm told it starts getting good again after about 25.
