Didn't know it was from the same directors.
First saw the trailer a while back - possibly when I saw HP7pt1? I'm intrigued and will definitely be seeing this, possibly even in theater.

I...don't think I'll be seeing this. In fact, I know I won't.

At least, not unless Rifftrax releases a commentary for it.

That was the girl who played Lily Kane in Veronica Mars, right?

Yes. Amanda Seyfried is a decent actress, too. (And singer! She was very good in Mamma Mia.) This film, however...probably not.

Farsky...I was so looking forward to you tearing this movie apart, maybe you could write a review based on the trailers? I love your reviews!

You can wait 'till it hits Netflix streaming, if you don't want to contribute to its Box Office draw, 'Skee.

really? They are making a Dark Romance about the story of a little girl who meets a wolf that eats grandma (something even grandpa won't do)?

I'm looking at the cast, and I'm not sure how you can **** up a movie that has Gary Oldman playing a major character.

1. Cast Amanda Seyfried.

2. Hire the director of the Twilight Trilogy.

3. Fail in ways that only Uwe Boll has been capable of failing previously ...

1) I thought Amanda Seyfried was pretty good in Veronica Mars

2) Twilight is a sexually deprived housewife's adolescent rape fantasy. I can hardly lay it's failings at the feet of the movie's director. It's like if you gave Taamar a truckload of steaming feces and told her to cook a five-course meal. It would not be logical to assume Taamar is a horrid cook because she returned with a platter of ****.

Or, we could just go to his blog. ;)

The difference there is that Taamar would have to agree to cook the meal with feces in the first place, as the director did with Twilight.

You bring up a valid point.

Taamar? If you were being paid a six-figure lump sum to cook the aforementioned meal? In the name of science, we now have to know.

How not especially imaginative. A wolf instead of vampires, but as long as it not based of the writing of Twilight's author, it might not be terrible.

you know... I think it should also be said:

Which "directors of Twilight"? The initial fanfic or the follow ups?

They did not invite the original films director back because she apparently shared the "Edward makes me wet so we shall all feel my crotch wetness" that the author had.

The director that took over after that initial director made them not as bad, but still painful to witness.

And I still see twilight and want to scream at my TV... "You bastard children of Saulot (The Cullens), you are Camarilla pawns (the Vampire association that Lucian is part of).... The Sabbat (not pictured in the Twilight Saga), the true children of darkness shall take you all."

Just to see one Tzimisce in that Universe would be so fun....

Vykos: "Really you sparkle? Well then please try this out... let me know if you sparkle the same when you have become a Vozhd"

Carlisle: "Huh what are you talking ab... *urk*"

Vykos: "Nope didn't think so... stupid Caitiff."

She's also the oldest daughter in Big Love.
