Occasionally I check to see what I can find when I look up my name on various search engines.

This last time when I checked, I found myself on the first page checking my name and they listed me as being 110 years old.

 And it was me, and not someone else with the same name.

What other major goofs have you all found looking up people on the internet?

I thought I was unique until I looked up my name on Facebook. I don't have a Facebook page, but there seem to be eleventy-million people with my name who do.

That doesn't happen to me really...I alternate between three variants of my first name, and back and forth between my maiden and married names and sometimes a combination of the two. Half the time *I* don't even have all the info right about myself, so I know google doesn't, haha!

19 Linkedin profiles, some of them rather impressive-sounding; a Twitter account that isn't me; a Facebook account that isn't me; and apparently I'm the president of Leadership Bound.

Ha ha! There is a park across the street from the Brooklake Church where I go walking from time to time. So the long haired, patchouli smelling guy with the tie-dyed T-shirt that said "Real Men Love Jesus" on the front and had a peace symbol in Blitz's beak on the back...that was you???

No one will ever find me on the Internet because I share a name with a famous (infamous) Global Warming talking head....

Surprisingly, my not completed (because I haven't worked on it in about 4 years) business website, which used to show up any number of pages down, is now near the top.

All results for "My Name" are me or connected to me.

Better question... how many pages of results?

I bet I get lowest with 4.

Apparently, me and a fella named Tom recently received awards and invitations for the Moose 25 Club. I didn't even know I was being considered!

The full, official form of my first name with my last name gets 4 pages. With only one exception -- a newspaper article -- they are all random people-finder information sites such as MyLife or USIdentify.

The short version of my first name results in only 3 pages, which is basically the same as above except with Facebook results... and this dumb Minesweeper thing that really should be taken off the internet by now! Makin me look bad to HR people, Minesweeper site! That was over 10 years ago!

Nah. I can't stand patchouli.

I'm apparently either a male model or a minor league baseball player. I used to be a high school cross-country runner in New Mexico, but I guess I graduated.

Apparently I got kicked out of college, lost my scholarship and wounded a police officer while brandishing a machete. I don't remember any of it.

Oh, and it doesn't hurt my anonymity that my first and middle given names are also books from the bible, and both are among the most common given names for males.

A google search for my full name yields about 150 million results, and as near as I can tell, not one of them is actually me. :p
