So after putting the soups away I moved on to another task. And when I went back in the walk-in one of the wands was out of position. So either I missed one (not bloody likely) or someone moved it to get to the lower rack and didn't put it back. So I fixed it. A bit later one of the buckets had been rotated 90°, but the wand was in the correct position. I figured someone moved the bucket, put it back wrong but lined the wand up. Better, but still frustrating. It's not rocket surgery, folks. I rolled my eyes and went to lunch. Afterward I went into the walk-in and saw that all the wands were still good, all the handles nice and even, and all the labels facing the correct direction. I was thrilled until I realized that the buckets had been rotated 180° and the labels had been peeled and positioned on the opposite side (without the measurements).
So I walked out and said "OK, now you're just f***ing with me, knock it off!". My boss cracked up and said "See? Told you!" to the other girl on shift. I love my job.
I used to do the same thing to my wife with everything in the kitchen until she got over her insane levels of OCD...
