While we weren't responsible for the break itself, my wife and I were "trapped" in the last part of Pirates of the Caribbean ride for over half an hour. I have had enough of "Yo ho ho! A pirates life for me!"

I have been hit by lightning. Twice.

I lack the burp reflex; the rare occasions where air forces itself out of my gut are excruciating.

I've had somewhere between 40 and 50 sexual partners (depending on your definition) and I regret none.

My epilepsy is a result of a brain injury.

Never been to a strip club

Never been in a relationship (but I am not a virgin -- figure that one out)

Cannot remember the name of the person that I last had sex with, but can remember the first.

I have spent over 12 weeks' worth of DKP on one item in an MMO before

I hate sports

My ultimate goal is to have sex with one woman for every letter of the alphabet (first or last name)

I am Spartacus

- For a time in the late '90s, Joe Satriani was one of my AIM (before it was actually AIM) buddies and we did chat often. And yep, I know for a fact it was him (I worked for AOL, and you can't fake the name on a credit card)

- During the first tour of G3, Joe got on his laptop like 20 minutes before the concert. We chatted, and I mentioned I wished I had the time to see that awesome concert. He asked if I wanted a free shirt. I got one fed-ex'ed to me a few days later.

- I don't show it as much as I used to on this board for some reason, but I am very proud of my sense of humor. I am constantly making people laugh, and I am proud in the fact that my sense of humor morphs to fit the person I am talking to. I am one of those guys that has a quick wit and will fire off a very appropriate and witty remark with great timing. I use this a lot to bypass my inherent shyness.

- I am inherently shy, see above. But if you were to ask anyone who knows me, including people that have known me for years, they would think you were smoking crack if you told them I was shy.

- I attribute a large part of my sense of humor to Weird Al. Not really in style or execution (save for my old Glade parodies), but he was the one that started me thinking about rewiring my brain to be more on the humorous side.

- For several years during high school, I wanted to be a doctor. I even took many classes that would prep me for that and I eagerly devoured that knowledge. To this day I still know what things like intraventricular septums and zygomatic factors are.

- My depression during high school and the realization that I would have a hard time hurting someone to help them (I was in an emergency room and right behind a curtain next to me was a 5 year old girl who was screaming in pain as they stitched her head) steered me off the path of becoming a doctor.

- In high school I thought goths were pansies who wanted people to pity them in their depression, or that their suicidal tendencies weren't real and just cries for attention. Whereas I hid it from everyone because I did not want people's pity or attention. But I secretly wanted to be a goth. A part of me still does.

- In 4th grade the teachers threw a dance for all the kids. It was my first dance. They had one rule: if someone asks you to dance, you have to dance with them. One girl in particular, Megan Gourmley, asked me to dance several times. I denied her each time. I still feel bad about it to this day, as I also now realize that she probably had a crush on me. So much so that I've attempted to track her down through things like Facebook and apologize. Haven't found her, and don't even know if her name is spelled right. She moved out of state by 5th grade too.

- If you were to ask me if I could go back in time and relive any period of my life, I would immediately answer 5th grade. Although going back to high school knowing what I know now about women would be a really, REALLY good experience.... 5th grade was the perfect intersecting point of childhood innocence and adult responsibilities. Young enough to still have fun, old enough to be bit more independent in your thoughts and actions. It was the single greatest period of my life.

- One of the most crushing experiences of my life was that my absolute best friend (who I met in 5th grade) decided 4 years later that he didn't want to be my friend anymore. It still hurts today, and I have never had a friend as close as him since. I think I keep people more at arm's length because of that.

- I admit that I am a little prejudice. Against a particular race.... but I am also prejudice against people of my own race. I have no problems getting along with people of all colors. There are more blacks, hispanics, and asians on one page of my yearbook than most people in Utah have seen in their entire life. But when I see someone do something stupid or lazy, I am not surprised when it is revealed as to what type of person they are. I don't like this about myself, but it's just one of those things that it is difficult to suppress.

- I believe that men who have the urge to talk about sports and sports figures every day around the "water cooler" are exactly the same as women who gossip about celebrities and their latest scandals. It is absolutely no different in my mind. They are both a form of worship of people who make more money than they deserve. I don't recommend pointing this out to these men though. They REALLY don't like that comparison.

There you go. Some really random info, some of which extremely few people (if any) know about.

I've never been drunk in my life.

I don't actually like chinese food.

I can't cook chinese food, most of the food I cook are actually fusions of Italian, English and Korean.

I've been paying taxes and working in real jobs since I was 15.

I have two best friends, one of which lived in my house for 2 years cause her parents broke up and neither could afford the kids. We've been best friends for over 15 years (I'm 26)

Before the age of 10 I studied ballet, piano, drums, painting, chess, chinese calligraphy and water ballet. I was proficient in all of them. I will not put my kids through this pain.

I have dated every star sign.

Everyone knows a part of my life, I do not have a single friend who knows the whole me.

I'm 47 years old and have had two jobs in my entire life. I've also never been unemployed. 20 years on active duty, and 8+ years with my current employer.

I didn't learn to drive until I was 21 (after I bought my first car - with cash)

Like some others, I've never taken an illegal drug, never smoked, never been drunk (I could count the number of beers i've had on one hand; I don't much like the stuff).

Huh. I don't quite know (a) where to start, or (b) how much I want to divulge. Not that it's all that mysterious, but everything stays out there, ya know?

OK, here are a couple of things. I've lived almost two years of my life, off and on, in Moscow, Russia. Three periods - the early 1980s (Brezhnev days), the early 1990s (Gorbachev), to the mid-1990s (Yeltsin). I need to get back this decade.

I've painted city streets, working nights during the summers in college. Probably the best job I ever had, at least as far as the blue-collar jobs go.

I disabled probably on the order of $300K of machinery in two days on a pea-picking crew. That was before I knew how to drive a manual transmission. They gave me about two hours of training and put me in a tractor. A big one. With a $100K combine on the back. Pushing in the clutch is not the way to stop, when you're going downhill.

I did a 5-week solo bike tour through southern and central California, climbing the Sierra Nevada about 6 or 7 times. Much of this was on dirt roads, on US Forest Service lands. Best time of my life.

Edit: I used to play Defender so much, and so well, that I could roll it (past 1,000,000 points). A friend of mine used to watch me, called the state I was in "Zen Defender."

I grew up on a farm. I learned to drive on a tractor (so I can drive a stick shift, I just don't enjoy it). My father was a farmer from a long line of farmers. My mother was a school teacher.

I lived in one house from the time I was born until I left for college. It was over a hundred years old when it burned down in 2001. It used to be a one-room schoolhouse.

I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class. I was also the first person from my father's family to graduate college, and one of the handful to ever even attend.

Despite being a huge geek, I was never picked on in school. On a semi-related note, I have never been in a fight.

I have wanted to make movies ever since a friend took me to see Twister on my birthday. It wasn't the quality of the movie that clicked for me, but rather the awe-inspiring ability to unify the people in the theater of disparate origins with the same emotion.

My left thumb is double-jointed. When I was born, the tendon was knotted, and I was unable to extend the thumb out. Doctors wanted to operate on me, but my mother was adamant that they weren't going to be doing that. It later fixed itself.

I've had one broken bone, when a fat kid fell on me during an elementary school game of baseball during PE. Greenlimb fracture of my left arm.

My continuing loves of Batman and the X-Men stem from the animated series of my youth. Batman: The Animated Series gave me a lifelong love of art deco and retro stylings, and X-Men led to me getting a tattoo of a phoenix when I got to college.

I have the aforementioned one tattoo (right upper arm), and no piercings. When I was younger, I wanted an ear piercing, but I never got it. I have since grown out of that desire. I want another tattoo, though.

I am allergic to mozzarella cheese, and have very bad outdoor allergies. Also, somewhat allergic to pets.

When I was in high school, I founded the first drama club of any school in the county, and was a member of the academic team and the computer team. The drama club folded a couple of years after I graduated, though I've heard they're looking to bring it back.

No one likes to play Trivial Pursuit with me. :(

Phe and I are three years' different in age. My parents share the same age span. We and they were both married by the same man, my great-granduncle Gene.

Among other things I wanted to be as a child were: scientist, doctor, and private investigator.

I've tried it four times in total. Two times ended in me noticing nothing at all, two times ended in me being nauseous. Not something for me, I suppose. I do plan on trying LSD one time - same effect as shrooms, minus the physical reactions (nausea, etc). My main issue is finding the time for it.. 4-6 hours needed from what I hear.

Best to start off with the lowest effective dose possible.

First time I got high (first 2 or 3 times I smoked it didn't do anything cause I inhale like a *****) I had crazy anxiety and weird vertigo. I didn't get sick or anything but I couldn't do much except lay down and hoped it went away. I guess that's kinda what happens when you smoke too much and have 0 tolerance.

I would recommend doing the LSD on a weekend, lol.

The number of civilian vehicles I've owned in my lifetime has only just recently surpassed the number of military vehicles I was trained/licensed on during my 2 years of service in the Army.

I consider myself to be a complete failure. I love my family, enjoy my job, yet I feel like I missed my true calling. Don't ask what it is, I have no **** idea.

Hey! You photocopied my life dude. Just remember I have the market cornered on self loathing and borderline self destructive behavior.

It isn't like that, I just feel like I could have done more or I should be doing more. It is hard to describe.

I feel much the same way, but I blame the hedonism of my youth. Once you've gleefully run from the path of purpose its hard to find your way back.

In West Philadelphia born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days...

I've only ever loved one woman. I mostly mistrust them.

I smoked like a fiend for about 2 months in college then completely stopped. I haven't had weed in a while.

I am 66" tall but my wingspan is a freakish 70".

I have lived in 2 different countries, 7 different states and on both coasts of the US. Northeast and Northwest. I would like to see Miami and SoCal next.

None of my extended family live in the same state except for my two uncles, one who is Key West and one in Orlando. Thus, I myself am a drifter.

I really hate myself after sex. Not sure why. I hate the world.

I used to have a lazy eye. It comes back from time to time.

I both love and hate luxuries and creature comforts.

1) I have been paid to eat fire, breathe fire, and juggle fire.

2) I have been engaged twice, never married.

3) This will be my first full time semester of college.

4) I've been stabbed once and shot at twice.

5) I have been in love many times.

6) I have spent time in every state in the continental US. I have never been overseas.

7) I close my eyes when I do the folk music performance thing. For some reason, playing a role is a lot easier than just being myself, stage fright wise.

8) despite all feedback to the contrary, I think I suck on stage.

9) I have serious issues with authority. Ok, that one is probably easy to see.

10) I have had a lot of sexual partners (about 30) and don't regret any of them, either.

Ya know, I wonder if this is a Wisconsin-thing. I'm much the same way (but I don't think it comes out here so much).

I've met the Coen brothers...I auditioned for the movie Raising Arizona. The highlight of my brief acting career was as an uncredited cattle-call extra for a made for cable Disney movie Not Quite Human--but I got a closeup!

People at work think I'm some sort of computer guru, but all I'm really good at in that realm is unjamming printers and copiers, and the fact that I have the helpline number memorized.

I had about a dozen sexual partners before I met my wife. Since we got together she's been the only one.

She'll be gone seven years in a little over a month. She was diagnosed with cancer almost three years before she died. Sex stopped then.

Someday, when I'm ready.
