Trump is going to force a constitutional crisis, his GOP allies will protect him until he midterms. He’ll be rendered impotent as a president but manage to hold his seat. The man baby president will see the polls and sour grapes a second term.

Let’s face it. His only real goal was undoing as much of Obama’s legacy as possible in the first place. His supporters only managed to get him to power by preying on their fears of social change. Regressive politics and scare tactics don’t work so well when you’re the party in power.

The case has already been made, and the military tribunal has been convened for almost 2 months now. There has been a military intelligence operation underway for nearly three years, and the rolling out your seeing is the end of the opp, not the beginning.

The criminal inquiry is going to hit so hard that by the time 2020 rolls around there may not be a Democratic Party anymore, and Donald Trump will be standing shoulder to shoulder with men like Washington for exposing it, prosecuting it, and guiding our country through it.

I'm not seeing how the FBI should get a pass for knowingly using politically manufactured evidence to violate the privacy of an American citizen for any reason.

It's worse than that, actually.

When you look at the timelines, you'll be absolutely furious. The memo was introduced for the purpose of hiding prior criminality. There had, prior to the memo's introduction, been a string of 702 FISA abuses going on where raw SIGINT was being used to spy on US citizens (political opponents of Democrats) without warrants. When Mike Rogers discovered this he turned off the spigot and started an inquiry into why. The dossier was created to paper over the abuses and provide cover for continuing the illegal opperation after the fact with the belief that once this work had been done and Clinton's election secured, none of this would have been investigated.

So again, the dossier was knowingly introduced to hide a much larger malfeasance, and then when the election was lost, and they were all exposed, they attempted a soft coup to force President Trump out if office before he could act to expose the truth.

People will, quite literally, hang for this.

Considering what was in the memo, I don't understand why the D-team was going on about its release being a threat to national security. I also don't see how there's the threat of a constitutional crisis right now.

The R-team seems to have overplayed the importance of the memo a little bit. But nothing the D-team is saying about this mess seems to be holding water.
