I don't always eat peanut butter, but when I do, I prefer Dos Eq...uh, chunky.

You only say that because the peanuts would kill you.

My answer creamy: Crunchy will tear apart the bread unless it is toasted and sometimes... I just want a PB&J I do not want it on toast. And if I felt like eating peanuts; I would instead of the mooshed variety.

Chunky! Which sadly I don't get at my home as I am the only one that prefers it.

I don't discriminate when it comes to peanutbutter, but when asked to choose I have to think about which variety is useful in more situations; thus, Creamy.

Peanut Butter is nothing without chocolate to dip. :)

They both have their place, creamy's is at the front of the cabinet for making sandwiches and chuck's is at the back of the cabinet hidden away from the world unless there's a peanutbutter emergency and the creamy's all, then it can serve in it's backup roll :p

Actually I don't mind chucky, it's just the afore mentioned bread shreading quality that makes it less than viable on soft fresh bread for sandwiches.

As with orange juice, if it's smooth, you've scooped out all the best bits. Spreading on bread can be done with proper technique, unless you're spreading so thin you might as well not have any peanut butter anyways.

Works well on toast, though.

I prefer chunky, although we have both in the house. The kids like it creamy.

One of my favorite breakfasts is toast with chunky PB, Nutella, and a sliced banana. Got your protein, your fat, your fiber ...

I dont like nuts of any kind in their 'nut' form. I feel like I'm eating grit. I am not a bird or reptile, I have no gizzard.

Creamy spread on graham crackers, but chunky makes a very good peanut butter cookie :)

Both, depending on usage you may want creamy or chunky. Not all peanut butter goes int sandwiches.
