No, of course not. I am suggesting that those who dish out the punishment need to be able to take it. If people are going to bash monte publicly they cannot turn around and report him.
I don't know if I'm included in your target audience or not, but since you quoted several things I said as examples, I'm going to assume that this was directed, at least in part, at me. If that's the case, I think you've gotten the wrong idea about what went down, here.
1) I wasn't "bashing" Montegue. I was trying to dissuade him from a course that couldn't
possibly end well for him. If you'll excuse me for quoting myself:

Ok, fine. Keep going down that road, and let me know how it turns out. Just don't expect any sympathy from me when you get yourself banned again for this petty nonsense. That'll show 'em!
The writing was on the wall. I'm sorry to say that this is pretty much exactly the way things turned out. I didn't
want Montegue to get suspended, but it was obvious to me that that was where things were headed if someone didn't talk him out of it.
2) I didn't report any of Montegue's posts. In point of fact, I've never reported a post by anyone on any incarnation of the Glade. So if you have the idea that I'm somehow involved in getting him suspended, you're barking up the wrong tree entirely.
As for the specific complaints you've raised:

King Monte
This comment was not intended as insult or name-calling. In context, I was merely trying to draw attention to the idea that what is acceptable to post on the Glade should not be subject to the personal sensibilities of any one person, as if they were an autocrat, king, dictator, etc.

Offending you is about as difficult as falling off a log
The language may be a bit more colorful, but this is equivalent to saying "you're overly sensitive". If that qualifies as a personal attack, then I really don't know what to say other than: "you're overly sensitive". :/
Really, if you're going to ding me for something, ding me for saying he should "grow the **** up".
